WINNER FURNITURE Completes 20,000-Seat Medical College Furniture Project in Iraq

Oct. 19, 26

WINNER FURNITURE GROUP, a campus furniture manufacturer based in Foshan, China, has completed the production and shipment of a 20,000-seat furniture order for a medical college under construction in Iraq. The order included student desks, chairs and auditorium seating, with all goods shipped by July 15, 2026.

From the client's initial inquiry in March to the completion of shipments in July, the project took approximately four and a half months. It involved product selection, an on-site factory visit, technical discussions, customized production, quality inspection, export packaging and international logistics coordination.

The project demonstrates WINNER FURNITURE's ability to coordinate large-volume campus furniture orders while balancing product requirements, manufacturing schedules and delivery commitments.

Project Overview: 20,000 Seats for an Iraqi Medical College

The client was preparing a new medical college and required a substantial quantity of student furniture and auditorium seating to support the campus's planned teaching activities.

The order required more than supplying standard furniture models. Product specifications, structural durability, customization details and delivery schedules all needed to be coordinated before production could proceed.

Project highlights:

The project timeline required close coordination between product confirmation, manufacturing, inspection and shipment preparation. Establishing these arrangements early helped keep the order moving toward the client's construction and furnishing schedule.

Understanding the Client's Requirements

The Iraqi client needed campus furniture for a medical college that was still under construction. The project involved a large order quantity, specific quality expectations and a defined delivery schedule.

Before confirming the purchase, the client evaluated WINNER FURNITURE's product range, production capacity and service capabilities. The discussions focused on the suitability of the furniture for campus use, the durability of structural components, customization requirements and the manufacturer's ability to manage a bulk order.

For educational furniture projects, these considerations are closely connected. Product selection affects the usability of classrooms and auditoriums, while production planning and delivery coordination influence the readiness of the facility.

WINNER FURNITURE worked with the client to review the proposed products and clarify the requirements before moving forward with the order.

Factory Visit and Product Evaluation

From April 20 to 26, 2026, the Iraqi client team visited WINNER FURNITURE's factory in China. The visit provided an opportunity to examine the furniture in person and discuss technical requirements directly with the manufacturing team.

The visit included a showroom tour, product sample reviews, a walkthrough of the production lines and discussions about quality-control procedures.

The two parties reviewed several important aspects of the order, including:

These discussions helped clarify the requirements for the medical college project and established a basis for the final product selection and production plan.

For overseas institutional buyers, an on-site factory visit can also provide a clearer understanding of a supplier's manufacturing operations and quality-management process before committing to a large order.

Customized Furniture Solutions and Contract Confirmation

Following the product evaluation and technical discussions, WINNER FURNITURE recommended suitable furniture configurations based on the client's requirements and the project's schedule.

The agreed product specifications incorporated several features intended to support durability and stable everyday use:

Thickened Board Panels

Thickened board panels were selected to support the durability requirements of furniture intended for regular campus use. Appropriate panel specifications are important for desks and other furniture components exposed to repeated daily use.

Reinforced Welding at Load-Bearing Structures

Reinforced welding was incorporated into relevant load-bearing structures to support the stability requirements of the selected furniture. Welding quality and structural connections are important considerations when manufacturing seating for educational facilities.

Eco-Friendly Paint Finish

An eco-friendly paint finish was specified as part of the product requirements for indoor use. The selected finish also contributes to the overall appearance of the furniture.

Anti-Slip Bases

Anti-slip bases were included to help improve furniture stability during use. The suitability of the base design depends on the furniture configuration and the floor surface.

WINNER FURNITURE also coordinated pricing, order terms, quality requirements and delivery arrangements with the client. Drawing on its manufacturing operations and raw-material sourcing capabilities, the company provided quotations aligned with the agreed product specifications and order volume.

After several days of negotiation, both parties finalized the terms and signed the procurement contract in April 2026.

Batch Production and Full-Process Quality Control

Once the contract was confirmed, WINNER FURNITURE initiated production planning, raw-material preparation and sample confirmation.

Managing a 20,000-seat order required coordination across manufacturing capacity, material allocation, production scheduling and inspection. Rather than treating the shipment as a single undifferentiated batch, production and quality checks were coordinated throughout the manufacturing process.

The quality-control workflow covered four main stages:

1. Raw-Material Screening

Materials were checked before entering production to support consistency with the agreed product specifications.

2. Cutting and Welding

Fabrication processes were carried out according to the product requirements, with attention to component dimensions and structural connections.

3. Polishing and Painting

Surface finishing was completed to achieve the required appearance and finish quality.

4. Assembly and Final Inspection

Finished products were assembled and inspected before packing. Checks focused on product dimensions, workmanship and structural stability in accordance with the project's requirements.

Production, inspection and packing were completed by mid-June 2026. This preparation provided a clear transition from manufacturing to shipment and helped the team coordinate the subsequent export schedule.

Export Packaging and International Logistics

For a large campus furniture order shipped by sea, packaging is an important part of delivery planning. Furniture components and finished products must be protected against moisture, impact and movement during handling and transportation.

For this project, WINNER FURNITURE used multilayer protective packaging with moisture-resistant, shock-resistant and collision-protection measures to reduce the risk of transit damage.

After production and inspection were completed, the goods were packed and stored in the warehouse in preparation for shipment.

The first batch was loaded into containers and shipped on July 1, 2026. Subsequent batches followed the planned schedule, and all goods had been shipped by July 15.

At loading, the team checked cargo quantities, packaging condition and loading compliance before handing the shipment over to the logistics chain.

This process connected the factory's production schedule with the export arrangements required for the overseas campus project.

Project Results: Quality, Coordination and Delivery

From the initial inquiry in March to the completion of all shipments on July 15, the project took approximately four and a half months.

Several factors supported the project's completion:

For a campus furniture manufacturer, these capabilities are particularly relevant to large institutional orders, where a delay or inconsistency in one stage can affect the wider furnishing schedule.

The project also reflects the importance of aligning product customization with practical manufacturing requirements. Early technical discussions help buyers and suppliers confirm specifications before committing resources to mass production.
